sometimes i just want to write. write and write forever and never come up for air. i want to so completely immerse myself in words and lyrics and verse that i come back an unrecognizable person. to rewrite my life, cut and paste and rearrange events. skip the gory or painful details and leave things vague and undefined with an ellipsis. i want to write what's in my heart, let feelings fly and emotions drip from my fingers as they fly across the keyboard. i used to be able to write for hours on end. i wish i knew why that release is lost to me now. i mean i can still write... but not lose myself in it. i miss it.
